General Functions:
The Convenience Store/Customer Service Supervisor will assist the Customer Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the convenience stores and main campus bookstore. Primary responsibility will be to supervise the satellite operations of the bookstore by coordinating deliveries, determining pricing, ordering inventory, processing invoices for merchandise received, and hiring, scheduling, and supervising students working as store clerks. The Convenience Store/Customer Service Supervisor monitors projects involving construction, additions, and modifications to convenience store operations.

Description of Primary Duties:

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma is required; a bachelors degree is preferred.

Experience: Three years of relevant retail experience is required with a minimum of one year of retail buying experience preferred.

Skills: Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Organizational ability is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Effort: This position works on the sales floor for extended periods of time and frequently lifts and moves materials and equipment weighing up to thirty pounds; may climb ladders to access merchandise and accesses materials or equipment stored on lower shelves or in lower cabinets/drawers. Daily commuting/walking between locations is to be anticipated.

Other: A valid drivers license is required.
